It won't cool or freeze. The circuit board was jiggled and it started to cool and freeze for a couple of days, then warmed up again. The circuit board was replaced but then the fan and compressor would not turn on. Told it was the compressor. Could it be the start relay switch or something else?

How to remove fan motor
For model number PFSS6PKXASS
PartSelect logo
Hello Jerry, Thank you for your question. Unplug the fridge, then remove the shelves to gain access to the back panel to remove the screws out so you can gently pull the panel out. There are 2 wire connections in the upper right corner, so disconnect the wires making sure you take pictures of how they were connected, then remove the 4 screws holding the metal fan panel in place. When its removed, twist the fan 90 degrees and it will be free, and a spring clip that holds the fan blades on the motor will need to be removed. Use a pair of needle hose pillars to pull the spring clip off, then finally pull the fan blade off the motor. Reverse the process for re installation. We hope this helps.

Pantry drawer lid had broken pivot
First, I have to say I live in the next state over, and I recieved the parts the next day. Yeah! OK, I removed the adjacent drawers *and the removable lower storage shelves on the doors for clearance*. Taking out the broken lid is easy. The new one is a tight fit. The right side has a raised pad on the pivot point, but the left one does not. I worked the peg (pivot point) in on the right side and slowly and carefully pushed the stationary plastic left side in slightly(and sprung the lid slightly) to get enough clearance to get in the left peg without breaking the new lid pivot. While doing this, one has to make sure the shelf immediately behind the lid is in place since there are support tabs located on it, and you will have to rework the thing if you don't get them to mate on the installation.
