What do I need to replace on my washer if when it spins there is a lot of noise?
For model number WFW9150WW01

On Whirlpool front load washer ,bad vibration on spin cycle. Of 3 pistons to absorb vibration one (left rear)has more up and down motion than others. Does this indicate a bad piston that should be replaced? Is part no. PS11723173? thanks, bruce
For model number WFW9150WW01

Hello Bruce, thank you for contacting us. The issue is most probably related to the shock absorber, part number PS11723173, which is oscillating with more amplitude than the others and replacing it is the most likely solution. We would also recommend checking the suspension spring set, part number PS993023. This set supports the outer tub and keeps the tub stable during unbalanced loads. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!

water pump failed
Pump started making noises like ball bearings grinding. took the lower front cover off pulled the strainer out of the pump housing and found $2.55 in nickles dimes and quarters. Some 223 bullets and about 20 bobby pins. Together they had destroyed the impeller, so ordering a new one and installing it did the trick. Easy installation about 15mins.
