Turntable did not turn when anything on top
Turn off the circuit breaker to the microwave. Remove the 4 black wood screws that secure the microwave to the cabinet. Pull the microwave all the way out and set it on something that leaves you access to the middle access panel on the bottom. Remove the access panel on the bottom that has one screw. Unhook the 2 cables to the motor remembering which color goes where. Remove the 2 screws for the motor and replace the motor. Finish up in reverse...

Turntable motor was making noise
Unscrewed and dropped the bottom panel of the Advantium on its rear hinge, disconnected the light and the motor, removed the motor screws, and replaced the motor. Very simple.
However, not related to the Advantium or the motor, trim had been applied to the bottom of the wall cabinets after installation of the Advantium. This trim prevented the lowering of the panel (and future removal of the whole oven), so I had to chisel and file and repaint the trim to get it out of the way.

The answer to turntable not turning explains how to replace motor... good instruction. can i replace motor without removing oven? also, initial response also suggests checking "coupler" for stripped gears... where is coupler? part of motor assembly? ready to buy part from you... excellent service.
For model number psa1200rww01
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your question. You will not have to remove the microwave from the cabinet to perform this repair. The coupler is usually the piece in the middle of the microwave floor that the glass tray sits on and is sometimes referred to as a turntable shaft. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Will microwave still heat even if the turntable is defective. My turntable does not turn but does not heat food. Should a new turntable motor fix my problem?
For model number PSA1201RSS01
Hello Sally, Thank you for the question. Normally it would still heat but not evenly. We suggest checking the Diode Cable, PartSelect Number PS239148. Most cases it will show burn marks if defective. We hope this helps.

Turntable will turn extremely slow with weight on glass or metal tray (like 2 out of 10 tries) but mainly won't turn at all. I checked the turntable guide with rollers and there are no flat spots on rollers. I can also spin the turntable drive coupler so that isn't locked up.
For model number ZSC1001KSS01
Hi Dwight,
Thank you for your question. Then you may need to replace your motor. I would suggest just taking off your coupler and making sure the teeth on the inside of the shaft are not worn down as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
