Product Description
Pump Outlet Seal Specifications
This part is the replacement pump outlet seal or seal ring for your dishwasher. It is made of black rubber and is sold individually. The seal ring creates a seal between the upper compartment of the pump to the pump body. If the seal ring fails, you won’t have good water pressure, and therefore your dishes won’t come clean properly. Improperly cleaned dishes are a good indicator of a bad seal ring. Be sure to disconnect your dishwasher to the water and power sources before you begin this repair. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Great and smart service!
Perfect service, the linked video of installation was useful and very reassuring that we were discussing the same part - after all one man's "pump outlet seal" might be another person's "casing gasket"!!! Thanks again.

Water leaking out under door
The pump outlet gasket was sticking out and a screw was missing from the pump outlet housing. This was causing water to flood out under the door.
Once I removed the pump outlet housing I saw that the gasket was out of place almost all the way around. I cleaned around the housing, replaced the gasket and the missing screw.
You need a Torx T-15 for this repair. Note that all of the screws on the housing were loose so you might need to tighten them from time to time.
Be careful not to drip a screw when you are installing it since it's a real hassle to fish it out from under the screen.
Once everything was tightened up, the wash pressure seemed to be much higher.

Dishwasher Leaked
At first, I suspected the door seal was at fault. However, after reading others' repair experiences, I found the dishwasher may leak if the wash arm bearings are worn. So, I took a look at those, and indeed they were quite worn.
After receiving the parts in the mail, I called my 7 and 9 year old kids over. They were excited to open the package, and weren't too disappointed when they found it was dishwasher parts. I told them it was up to them to fix the dishwasher. As I sat on a stool, I instructed them what to do. They did a great job and now it doesn't leak any more.
