Helix end cap slipped, jamming auger and breaking bucket
First, I removed the ice bucket and crusher assembly and emptied the ice into a tupperware container.
Next, I removed the face plate by carefully pressing the bottom of the ice bucket and releasing the tabs on the face plate.
Using a 1/4" nutdriver, I removed the two screws near the bottom of the ice crusher and auger assembly which holds it to the ice bucket.
As long as the auger was off, I decided to replace the end cap to see if that would solve the jamming problem. It takes a little finesse to figure out how to twist the cap so it can be removed, but it is fairly easy once you see how it works.
Reassembly is the reverse procedure. When putting the face plate back on, be sure the lip at the top (just below the clear window) laps over the top of the bucket.

The Ice Bucket broke and need it to be replaced.
First I removed the old ice bucket. It just slides right out. Then I removed two screw located right in front. After that all the parts come right off. Switch all the part from the old Ice Bucket to the new one. Reinserted the Ice Bucket and works like new.

Ice maker would not dispense ice.
!st I called a repair man because the fridge is under warranty. They came out and this part was not under the warranty. I started looking online and found PartSelect.com. They broke down the icemaker into parts and I could see that I did not need the whole icemaker, just the bucket and a cap. I could not believe how simple the problem was. Took just minutes to fix and now I can get ice from my door again! I got the parts quick and I got what I ordered. I highly recommend PartsSelect.com!

Lip of ice bucket kept breaking off and pieces would jam dispenser.
Took longer to pull fridge out and push back than to replace bucket. Pull bucket and dispenser out . Carefully unsnap plastic front cover and access door from bucket. Loosen two hex screws that attach bucket to dispenser. Auger assembly comes loose. Just reinstall auger and screws then carefully snap front back on. Slide unit back in freezer.Push fridge back in place. Take a beer out of fridge. Drink it and pat yourself on the back!
