Big Part, Small Fix
Part arrived quickly and fitted easily. Again!! This is the 2nd identical replacement I've done for this part. A small support pin broke off but required replacement of the entire part. Either the pin design needs to be made stronger or a method made to just replace the support pin.

Pantry Drawer End Cap
The videos on ‘how to’ were not only very helpful, but they helped me select the correct part. Subtle differences between models meant that there were no screws…there was a centre latch on the part that released the end cap vs screws. Knowing that may help others in successfully repairing this part.

Easy repair, fast shipping
The part never should have failed in the first place and KitchenAid would not stand behind it nor after market insurance by WGI Service Plan. But the part was perfect, easy to install and delivered lightening fast. Thank you Partselect.

The plastic pin on the end cap holding the lid to the "Deli Center" drawer broke when the refrigerator door closed with the drawer open.
1) Remove Deli Center drawer and lid 2) Remove the two Crisper Drawers above the Deli Center 3) Remove the glass shelf above the Crisper Drawers. 4) Remove the front and brackets that held the glass shelf. 5) Remove the broken end cap by sliding it upward off the brackets that hold it to the side of the refrigerator, 6) Slide on new end cap. Replace the other parts in reverse order of removal. You will probably want to clean the parts you have removed before reinstalling. Easy- peasy.

The "axle" for the Deli Center lid broke when struck by an orange dropping from above.
You need to remove both humidifier drawers plus the glass shelf for the bottom of the humidifier drawers and the bar at the front as a start. If I had known this before starting it would have sped up the install time. Then, pull out the deli drawer.
To remove the end cap (either side) there is a plastic tab to push down on just over halfway back and then you can slide up the front of the end cap. Once you have slid up the front of the end cap a few inches, (past the channel it is locked into), you can pull it forward. You can observe the configuration on the spare part to see how this needs to be done.
To install the new end cap, reverse this process. The trickiest part is then re-inserting the deli drawer and the lid. Getting the lid onto the two axles was a bit of a struggle as the fit is very tight. Re-installing the humidifier parts is much easier. My repair time included using the opportunity to clean all of the removed drawers and shelves. If you know about the need to remove the humidifier drawers ahead of time and eliminate the cleaning I think this would take less than 15 minutes.

Pin holding darwer lid boke off.
Must remove all shelves, pantry drawer , bins above pantry drawer.
Once everything is out of the way grasp the old, broken end end and pull directly straight up, if the refrigerator is a little older it may take a very strong pull. Needless to say this model is the newer model with no screws holding the end cap in place.
Once the old piece is out just located the three pins position the new piece over these pins and press down should clip right into place.
Very easy after old piece is removed.
Take a picture of the bins and drawers before you start so you have a reference when returning those pieces back.

Snapped the deli drawer lid holders.
Watched numerous U tube videos to prepare ourselves as well as instructions from other posters. Tried to pay attention on how we disassembled thing with limited success. Installing the new end caps proved to be easier that we expected since they weren’t screwed in but just snapped in. We think that’s because it’s a newer model that what we saw on U tube.

The hinge pin /axel for the deli lid on the end cap broke off.
I used “ Bruce from KIRKLAND, WA” instructions.
Without it, I may still be struggling to remove it. These are his notes summarized.
Remove both humidifier drawers
Remove the glass shelf
Remove the deli drawer and lid
To remove the end cap (either side) there is a plastic tab to push down on just over halfway back and then you can slide the front of the end cap up and out.
THE PLASTIC TAB IS THE KEY!! ---^
To install the new end cap, reverse this process.
The trickiest part is then re-inserting the deli drawer and the lid.
Getting the lid onto the two axles was a bit of a struggle as the fit is very tight.
Huge thanks to Bruce from KIRKLAND, WA!!!

Tin at the top left of the panel was broken
Remove the Veggie shelf top. Remove veggie tray. Pull the clip on the center of the left panel - lift and pull forward.
Install new panel by inserting the two guide pins at the rear of the frig and move the panel to a 45% angle so you can install the veggie lid pin into position before moving the panel down into the secure position. You will hear the clip seat into position. If you do not do this I am not sure how the lid pin can be installed without breaking it.

Left side end cap deli drawer holder was broken
Ordered left side end cap from Parts Select. They sent me the right side end cap. Had to return the part. They did refund the part price but it cost me shipping both ways. Had to order the part from another vendor. After receiving the correct part it took 19 minutes to remove some shelves, replace the part and replace the shelves, deli drawer and deli cover. Very easy.

I need to replace both the left and right endcap pantry parts (parts #w10121977 and w10122078 ) that the pantry door slides on. I do not see any screws holding them on. Do they snap in place? I don't want to force anything and possibly cause more problems. The video's i've watch show screws that need to be removed. If they snap off is there a particular way of getting them off?
For model number KFCS22EVMS5
Hi Ron,
Thank you for your question. If you would like to purchase the end caps, you may order them online, through one of our online chat sessions or by calling our customer service line and anyone would be happy to assist you. There is a comment that a customer has left on our website on how they installed the part that you may reference, "Obviously remove the glass shelf and supports plus all three drawers first. Being as there are no screws or visible means by which the Pantry Drawer End Cap is attached and being as the part entails removal of the vent slider from the back, there presents a problem. The backside of the end cap has hooks that clip into the side of the refrigerator wall. Use caution in raising the end cap up to release the clips. It does help using the screwdriver beneath the end cap and some movement with hands but it will come up along with the backside attachment. That isn’t the problem.
The difficulty is in (1) noting and remembering how the assembly came off and apart. (2) Putting the moving parts inside of the end cap like they came out and (3) replacing the back and side at the same time. The back assembly has a clip that inserts to the left. It is important to insert that first. The side portion inserts by placing above the slots and pushing in (to the right) and down at the same time. It all comes together and you will wonder how you did it." I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Is this size correct for counter depth KitchenAid refrigerators. Left pantry drawer end cap
For model number KFCS22EVMS0
Hi Marilyn,
Thank you for contacting PartSelect. We do not go by the size of the appliance as the model number lists all the parts available for your fridge. Checking the model number you provided this would be the correct part for the left side if you are standing in front of the appliance looking in.
Hope this helps!
