Changed panel & control panel to stainless steel
I removed the nuts that held the panel, put the new one on replaced the same nuts. For control panel I unscrewed the two nuts that held it into place, carefully lifting the plug from the panel and replaced the new one, by putting the plug back in place and attaching the two nuts. Finished! Easy!

My normal light on the dishwasher keeps blinking and will not start. Do i need to replace the control panel or is there some other fix that i can try?
For model number DU1145XTPQ7
Hi Marilyn,
Thank you for your question. Usually behind the kickplate of your appliance, you should actually have a tech sheet attached to the back side. That tech sheet will have a diagnostic step by step procedure that you can use on your appliance to test the electronic control board. That may help you to determine which part is actually giving you the issue. There are a couple of parts that could cause the issue though. You could test your heating element with a multimeter to see if it has burnt out or not. The other two parts would be your control board and control panel. The diagnostic test should be able to tell you whether it is the control board or control panel that is the problem. hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The pots and pans & normal light are blinking and the dishwasher will not start. Those two lights just remain blinking. What do you suggest?
For model number DU1055XTVS0
Hello A, thank you for your question. Try a hard reset on the dishwasher. To reset it, you will have to have the door open. It can not be latched. Press "Heated Dry," "Normal," "Heated Dry," "Normal" within three seconds of the first pressed button. Now close the door, this should reset your dishwasher. If this doesn't work, you will want to try unplugging the unit or turning the power off to the unit then turning the power on to see if that resets it. If that doesn't work, you will want to start by testing the heating element, bi metal fuse, door switch, capacitor, turbidity sensor, and high limit thermostat. I hope this helps.

Hello Joanne, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the Chopper Assembly, PartSelect Number PS11745442 and the drain pump, PartSelect Number PS11753379. It sounds like something may have been damaged or has become jammed and not allowing the cycle to start. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
