Came to me quickly and in perfect condition.
My greatest thrill was that I put it in next to the 8" ring and they both matched! The 40 year old ring looked identical. What an amazing quality. Congrats to Jenn Air for such a high standard... something that doesn't exist much in today's world. I'm also thrilled that I can still get most parts for the countertop model. One question please: Is there a simple way of removing the fan surface for easy cleaning? What do you recommend I do. It's difficult to clean from inside the vent area.

Wanted to update surface parts to a very old (27 yrs?) Jenn-air range on an island
The first task was to find the rings, drip bowls and elements on the "PartSelect" webpage. It was surprising easy, especially since I have no experience whatsoever in replacing range parts. The ordering was straight-forward, and most of the parts arrived within a week, a couple were back-ordered, but arrived a week later. Instillation was easy - just unplug elements, lift parts out, and insert new parts. I made a mistake in ordering - for the left side of the range, no adaptor rings are needed. I returned these excess parts to PartSelect, and within a week, they refunded the costs of these parts. Overall, I'm very please with the parts and service.

Cooktop has aged. Needed new burner switch.
I recently purchased an older home. The cooktop is aged and has not been properly maintained. With the parts I ordered from parts select I was able to bring my cooktop back to almost new! I am very pleased with the quick service parts select provided!

burned out receptacle
Searched for parts and found PartsSelect to substantially underprice Sears for same items. removed old recept. with a screwdriver, no problem, had a little difficulty getting new wires attached as hand wouldn't fit under burner area and the wires were short. Also the recept. bracket screw hole was a little tight for the screw so I had to "stretch" it out a bit. Replacing drip pans and rings was a simple change out of the old, no tools needed for that. Overall an easy job.
