Great part but missing the housing
Part was exactly what was needed but I’m confused why I am paying for the part with housing when it comes without and is more work for installation?

Dryer shuts down after 2 minutes and error code h4a
For model number FAQE7001LW0
Hello Orette, Thank you for the question. This normally indicates there is a stuck button. We suggest to press lightly all around the buttons to see if you can unstick the stuck button. You can also unplug and reset the appliance. If this does not help, you may have a defective Control Board or a Button. We hope this helps!

Power surge caused the power panel not to light up. The inside drum light works.
For model number 41791122310
Hi Ray,
Thank you for your question. If the control panel is not lighting up, the power surge may have damaged the electronic control board. Check to see if there are any scorch marks or signs of wear on the electronic control board. If there is, the electronic control board will need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello, My dryer CFQE5000QW0 turns on, but does not run. There's no msg or error code. It is "just" the cycle that is not starting (any cycle).
Should it be a case for a control board replacement?
Thanks!
For model number CFQE5000QW0
Hello Diego, thank you for contacting us. Yes, it can be a case of a faulty control board, part number PS12724038. However, before replacing it, we would recommend checking the door switch, part number PS2330880, the thermal fuse, part number PS2349395, and the control thermistor, part number PS1149368. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!

If the control panel is bad will it cause the dryer to shut off after 4-6 minutes ? It can be restarted just by pushing the button and it runs for another 4-6 minutes. Also the display will sometimes flash when its just plugged up and not turned on .Or could the thermister be defective and the panel om ?
For model number FAQE7001LWO
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer is shutting off too soon, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check high limit thermostat, the control thermistor, the thermal fuses, the door catch and the door switch. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

Hi, I have got code E4a, dryer turns ON but wont start, tested test mode, all control board lights seems to respond normally, but nothing works in test mode too. If you could help. Thanks
For model number CFQE5000QW1
Hello Nav, Thank you for the question. Typically error code E4A indicates the max time exceeded for that cycle. We suggest checking for a restricted Vent, Lint Duct or Cabinet allowing for poor air flow and not allowing the dryer to heat and dry clothes in the proper amount of time. If everything is good, check the Moisture Sensor for damage or loose connections. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call or check out our Fix.com App in the App Store. We look forward to hearing from you!

The dryer runs contineously and does not get hot. The unit will stop once the door is open. Could this be a bad timer or control board?
For model number FAQE7001LWO
Hello Paul, thank you for contacting us. The no heat issue is mostly caused by a defective high limit thermostat, part number PS446428, or a faulty control thermistor, part number PS1149368, or it can be a defective heating element, part number PS2367792. We would recommend inspecting these parts for continuity using a multimeter, if they are good then it indicates a bad control board. If you would like assistance placing an order, please contact customer service. Good luck with your repair!
