Icemaker not pushing out ice
Consult the exploded view of the Ice Container on this site. A likely cause the end plate (17) is worn. This plate connects the rotating corkscrew to the final plastic worm that pushes the ice into the crusher and thence to your waiting glass. The worm alone will not do the trick. To replace this plate, you need to take out all of the screws you can see, including the one that holds the spring for the crusher select bar.. First, the front cover, then the plate, and finally, locking ring from the worm and the black housing for the crusher. Now you can remove the whole worm assembly. Using a cloth or rubber insulator to protect it, unscrew the end screw and slide off the crusher teeth. Store on the table as a unit to facilitate re-assembly. Slide off the old bar and worm, put them back, and re-assemble. Takes a little dexterity to get the crusher select bar back, but not hard. Easy job.

The ice maker dispenser will not dispense ice correctly. In looking at the dispenser bin I see nothing broken but there is a blade on the auger that you can tell is supposed to be attached to the round wheel that rotates and pushes the ice out of the dispenser in the door into your glass. This blade is not attached to the wheel any longer but is free to slide back and forth on the auger. Is there a clip or something that attaches to the auger behind this clip to keep it in place on the wheel so the ice will come out?
For model number FGHC2331PF7

Thank you for your question. We have included a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference on how to install the driver blade. The refrigerator in the video may appear different from yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!

My augar rotates but does not produce ice cubes. The metal blade is detached and seems like the wheel doesn't turn. Does the metal blade seems to be the problem?
For model number fs26lfdsb
It may be that ice clump has formed inside. Remove the ice bin, thaw and empty contents. Clean the ice bin (wipe/dry) and replace. The metal blade is necessary. You will need to replace it. Or, if the parts that it attaches to has been damaged, the Drum PS1526412 or Auger PS1526550 they will need to be replaced. There is also an option for a Complete Assembly PS1991430. We have videos for all three parts so that you may view the repairs. We are pleased to have been able to help.

ice cubes dispense, but it will not crush ice any more
For model number LFSS2312TPD
Hi Gerald, thank you for the question. If your dispenser only dispenses cubed ice and not crushed ice, then the ice dispenser solenoid, part number PS8691994, is most likely faulty and may need to be replaced. We hope this information helps!
