Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
The door handle is plastic and has broken twice by just pulling the door open as designed.
I opened the door and inserted a flat screwdriver between the inner and outer doors to snap the inner door away from the outer door. I then took a phillips screw driver and removed the door handle screws from the old handle or remnants of it. I then installed the new door handle by putting the phillips head screws in the handle from the back side of the outside door. I then snapped the inner door back in place. Here is one criticism of the part that was supplied: This part is very simple and cheap plastic. The cost of that handle was $60 delivered and is not original equipment manufacturered parts. I took the old GE sticker off of the old handle and glued in onto the new handle to make the microwave oven look right.

Handle Broke
This is the second time the handle has broken. Both times at the top of the handle. Open the door and remove the rim around the inside of the door. A flat head screwdriver will lift the hinge end and then pop of. Remove the old screws and save them! Put the new handle in place and use the old screws to reattach the handle. The screws that are sent with the handle are too long and will break through the other side.

handle broke at the plastic nubs that attach to the door
pried open the plastic inside trim which came off easily and then unscrewed the screws (had to use a pliers to hold the broken nubs). Inserted the new handle which fit perfectly and then reapplied the old screws which were shorter than those in the kit so I was glad I kept them

Oven door handle broke after repeated use.
After prying out the interior door framing, I was able to attach the handle after lining up the holes.. They matched!! Once attached with unsupplied screws, I re-attached the interior framing, and it works!! My billing indicates you are in Nova Scotia, "New Scotland", a really cool place!!! Thank you!

Hi Paul, Thank you for your question. To install your microwave door handle you will have to remove the back choke panel with a putty knife. Gently pry it off the tabs that hold the front panel and the back panel together. Once you have that part off you will be able to see the screws to install your handle. This is the correct white handle for your appliance. Good luck with your repair.
