Display flashes- cant select ice or water

Thank you for your inquiry. There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the dispenser door solenoid, the electronic control board and the water inlet valve. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Need black label part only for water/ice dispensor and is it easy for self installation?Thanks.

Hello BJ, Thank you for your inquiry. The black label/touch pad is only included as part of part# WR55X10859. You would need a flat blade screwdriver and a plastic square. Use the flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic frame around the touchpad (putting the plastic square between the screwdriver and the outer square prevents the finish from being scratched by the screwdriver). Next pull out the dispenser assembly. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the old touchpad and board and re-attach them to the new part. Replace the assembly and bezel. Hope this helps!

All the doors were closed but i kept hearing an intermittent beeping sound. I pressed any of the buttons no signal and no Green light on the temperature control module. Then i opened the freezer it has stopped working and same with fridge. Please, what can i do? Here is the part number wr55x10859 replaces 1477955, ap4362900, wr55x10572.

Hello Dennis, thank you for your question. If the unit is not working at all, as in the compressor is not running and the freezer is not getting cold, I would recommend replacing the main control board on the back of the appliance. This board, part number WR55X10942P, controls the operation of the unit. Note: This part has been updated by the manufacturer. It may differ in appearance but will function the same as the original.
