how does this grill base attach? is it possible to attach this replacement with out disassembling other parts of the refridgerator?

Hello Keenan, Thank you for your inquiry. We show that this bottom kickplate grille just attaches to the bottom of the refrigerator under the door with two locking tabs. You should just have to grab each end of the grill and pull it off. To attach the new one, just align the locking tabs on the grill to the metal retaining clips on either side of the bottom of the refrigerator.
