Hello Ed, thank you for writing. You may want to consider replacing either the Icemaker Switch part PS297462 or the Ice Maker itself part PS1993870 for your model. We hope this helps.

The ice maker works for a while and the cubes jamb in the stripper and bows it out of the notch in the motor assembly. If the stripper stays in place it works all right. Had trouble with two different ice makers.
For model number Frigidaire LHFT2131QF0
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. If the ice cubes being produced are smaller, then they will jamb the stripper arm. If the ice cubes are a smaller then normal, this is likely a result of a flow problem or a water pressure issue. Check the fill tube that supplies water to the ice maker. It may be clogged or frozen. If it is frozen, you will need to defrost the refrigerator. If you have hard water deposits, this can cause a clog in the water fill line and you will need to clean it out. Also, check the water pressure and the water inlet valve. If the water inlet valve is not working correctly, it may need to be replaced.
We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
