Product Description
Crisper Support - Rear Specifications
This authentic rear crisper support is a white, plastic part which is rated as "easy" to install by our customers. This OEM part replaces the rear crisper cover support in your fridge and mounts to the inside cabinet wall. If there is visible damager or your crisper stops fitting properly, it may be time to replace the part. Check your user manual and model number to ensure this part is what you need. Replacing the rear crisper support in your refrigerator is an easy job. This part is made from plastic and mounts on the inside of the wall. To complete this repair you will need a small putty knife, a punch or a short flat blade screwdriver, and a small hammer. You may need to replace your rear crisper support if you find that the door will not open or close. In order to complete this repair, you will need to remove all the shelves above the crisper in order to have ample room to work. It is also good to have duct tape on hand, which can be used to protect the liner around the support. This part is sold individually. Please note that the rear and front crisper support are different parts; this is the one you are looking for if it is your rear support that needs replacing.

Great end to end service
This is a very easy installation. These are simply studs for a crisper drawer. Finding them was easy on the web site. Receiving them was quick. What I found most useful was the very helpful video that accompanies the parts arrival and its presence on the web site prior to the delivery. In fact, it was incredibly useful and turned what could have been a perplexing task or worse into a 10-15 minute job. Thanks, Ted

Piece of cake.
I bought both the shelf support and the shelf. I'd watched a YouTube video, so the repair was very quick and easy. The parts were perfect.

Support studs were broken
Used pliers to remove the residual broken stud that was still attached to the wall of the refrigerator, and then just pushed the new part in place. The longest time was spent in removing the food and crisper drawers.

The 2 year old used the 2 bottom trays as a step stool
Repair was pretty straight forward. The Plastic around the glass cover of the crisper pan all broke where the stud holds it up. Replaced both of the plastic covers.
The broken support stud was a bit of a pain, you have to use a long nose pliers to try and pull the middle stud that locks everything in place. Forcing the entire support stud out will crack the plastic body of the fridge, so you have to truly find a way to get that middle stud out first to lose the clamps. Look at the new one you have and figure out how it works to give you an idea of how you can pull out the broken one.
All in all, was a pretty simple install. More annoying as you have a small space to work in.

Broken plastic guides on both crisper drawer covers. Upper crisper pan broken. Broken supports.
Remove both crisper pans and covers. Discard old frames and re-use glasses. Use two screw drivers to gently pry out broken supports. Top broken off smooth on one support. Unable to grasp with pliers to pull out. I drilled a small hole in the center of the large expansion pin. I screwed in a small sheet metal screw. Used side cutter pliers to grasp screw and gently rock back and forth to remove center of large pin. Plucked out broken pieces with needle nosed pliers. Gently tap in expansion pins to install new supports. The rest is simple re-assembly using new parts. "Nothing to it but to do it."

crisper drawer supports broke
The parts supplied were made to fit. The hardest part was getting the original broken tabs out of the internal walls of the fridge with out damaging the internal insulation. I punched the center locking pin through completely, dug out the broken tabs and then reached into the hole with a dental pick and pulled out the center pin. The new parts fit perfectly and with a plastic mallet, tapped the new locking pin into place.

2 broken shelving supports
The shelving brackets are install much like a blind rivet. I simply used a punch and gently pushed in the plastic center pin / mandrel. I then used a butter knife as a wedge to pull out the shelving supports enough to grab them with a pair of pliers. Simple to do!

Had a broken door bin and shelf support stud
I pulled out the old support stud with a pair of pliers, pushed the new stud in, and gave it a few taps with the hammer to secure it in the fridge wall. For the door bin I just slid the new bin in place.
