broken door handle on microwave
I ordered the replacement handle easily online. In order to get to the screws from the broken handle, you work from inside the door. There is a plastic piece that needs to be removed which can be done with a regular screwdriver. And then another surface has to be removed by unscrewing 2 screws. I found I had to angle the screwdriver to get to the door handle screws. It was a little tricky to unscrew these and to get the screws in the attach the new handle, but it all worked out.

Door handle is broken. How to remove and install new one.
For model number FFMV162LWA
Hi Ralph,
Thank you for the question. First carefully remove the inner door panel in order to access the handle screws. You can use a flat head screw driver or a putty knife. Then there was a 2 piece inner "door" still in the way. Removed two more screws then carefully pried it off the plastic clips and swung out of way. Removed handle screws and old handle. Installed new handle and re-assembled.
Hope this helps !

Plastic recessed door handle retainers (2) for door screws
For model number CFMV152KWA
Hi Harry, thank you for your question. Your appliance does not have retainers in that area. Your screws go directly through the front door panel and into the handle itself. Good luck with your repair.
