Water Leak@Spout - Motherboard Lost it's Mind - Broken Ice Auger
Valve wasn't closing completely, replaced ALL valves I'm already in there). Got a pair of valves as spares too. Motherboard went AWOL...as a computer engineer it was a simple diagnosis....replace ..the broken Auger?....that was user error...Housekeeper put an ice pack in the ice drawer...you can just imagine the consequences. How easy was it?.....SO easy little hint....don't bother to wrestle the hoses off the valves...just cut them flush with the valve body....there's plenty of hose to spare. If you're a younger person you can do it in 15 mins

No water/no ice
The first sign of trouble was when the water dispenser would continue to come out after you let up on the button. Then water and ice stopped. Changed the secondary inlet value and the main water valve, as well as a 1/4" water line running to the freezer (it was cracked). Water is working. Ice maker is working better than ever. New life for an aged refrige.

Coroded Water Valve-no longer dispensing water, then leaked water from bottom of fridge
Ordered the replacement parts-both water valves, printed the schmatic, then removed and replaced both parts. Was fairly straight forward, rmeember to unplg the fridge before you start. Problem solved, should be good for another 10 yrs.
Hard water prob caused the corrosion. Also replaced the water hose while I was back there, water tastes 100% better.

Solenoid wasnt pumping water to the ice maker
I started by shutting off the water inlet valve and then unplugged the refrgerator. I then disconnected the tubing leading into the solnoid. Removed the old solenoid, replaced it with the new part reconnectted the tubing and gave it a test run. After about 2 hours we had ice being made again! I then reconnected the bracket to the refrigerator and haven't had a problem since.
