How to take out door seal and replace?

My gasket/door boot is damaged. What is the proper part number oem and your number. Is it who8x10036? This is what a local guy told me. Do I need a ring as well? Thank you and merry Christmas.

Hello Robert, Thank you for contacting us. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is Manufacturer Part Number WG04L01025 for the Boot Gasket. The Rings Manufacturer Part Number WH01X10279 and Manufacturer Part Number WH01X10277 can be reused is they are not damaged or worn. Hope this helps!

Do i really need to replace the whole gasket if it’s just the seal that’s wearing?

Hello Gina, thank you for your question. If the front door seal is wearing at all the whole door gasket would have to be replaced. There is only one gasket/seal that holds the water into the door which is PartSelect Number PS3417678. Please enter the part number into the site for current price and availability.
