I had to order this part 3 times before it arrived in one piece. The tabs that stick out on the back of the drawer are quite fragile and they are only protected by the paper the drawer is wrapped in which is no good if the box falls on the "back" side. So twice they refunded my money and I re-ordered. The 3rd one was shipped exactly the same way so it was only dumb luck that it got to me in one piece. To Part Select's credit they made the return process faily painless. I had to send pictures of the damage and they did not want the old Drawers back.

Broken plastic parts
Cleaned the refrigerator as the old parts were removed. Installed new parts as the old parts were removed so as to easily identify the replacement parts. Very easy and wife was extremely happy after old plastic parts self destructed over a period of months and refrigerator was essentially unusable on the bottom two drawers.
I started with removing all of the old parts.I compared all the new parts with the old.Everything matched up good.While I had it apart I cleaned all of the old parts to be used again.Everything went back together very well.I would have no problem ordering parts again,and doing a repaire.
This was a simple repair. I removed the broken bin from the refrigerator and snapped the white plastic handle / humidity control slide off the broken bin and snapped it onto the new bin. I replaced the bin in the refrigerator and loaded it up with veggies. Took all of 5 minutes to make the repair.
Pieces/units were broken from general wear-and-tear.
Did the repairs just by self knowledge. Thank you very much for wonderful customer service (Kirsten was terrific!). We still can't believe how quickly all the parts arrived. Much, much, much appreciated. Blessings!!
A plastic drawer and a couple of plastic side rails were broken
As I unscrewed the side rails I made note of exactly how they were to go back on. Then I cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned. Found some stuff back in there that looked like steak but I couldn't be sure so I didn't eat it. I screwed the new side rails on using a regular screw driver, not a drill, and everything fit like a drawer in a refrigerator. I ordered the screws just in case but I did not need them. I gently encouraged my wife to not overfill the drawers in the future and she was very thankful for the instructions.
I watched a You Tube and completed the job in less than 15 minutes. Took the drawer out then took the two screws out of the rail. Put screws in the new rail. Took the White face off the old drawer and put on the new drawer and places the drawer back on the rail slides. Job done.

Old vegetable drawer cracked.
No real repair was necessary.
Ordered replacement Arrived 2 days later but was damaged in shipping. Called Customer Service for another replacement which arrived the next day. Just attached front part of drawer and it was ready to use. Customer Service was extremely helpful and efficient.

I just recd a new crisper drawer, but cannot figure out how to remove the white handle so i can install it on the new drawer. Help!

Hi Marilyn,
Thank you for your inquiry. This a fairly easy job. When starting any repair even a minor one unplug the appliance. Pull the vegetable drawer pull the crisper pan out until it stops and then lift it up to unlock it and pull it out the rest of the way. Release the clear plastic piece of the vegetable pan from the handle. There are locking tabs at each end. Flex and push down gently to loosen the tabs and remove the handle. Remove the slide and the air vent off the handle. Use a flat head screw to lift up on it to separate them from the handle. Put the slide and and the air vent on the new handle and then attach it back to the vegetable drawer and then put the drawer back in the refrigerator. I hope this helps. How do i remove the bottom crisper glass to clean it?

Hello Shelly, thank you for your question. To remove the glass, take all the items off the shelf and out of the bin. Remove the bin itself. Then you can pull the glass towards you a bit, then pull up at the back and out of the appliance. Make sure the glass is left out to get to room temperature before cleaning as placing the glass in warm water right from the fridge it could shatter. I hope this helps!

I do not need a new glass. There are two vegetable crispers. The upper one has a full glass and the bottom one is half that size. I can't find a way to remove the bottom glass unless I take 4 screws out and remove the holder and the glass. How do you remove the lower or bottom glass? I don't want to take my refrigerator apart just to clean the glass. No one yet has been able to answer my question about the bottom glass. Shelly

Hi Shelly, Thank you for the question. You need to slide the drawer out a bit and then lift the back of the glass up a bit and slide the front corners of the glass out of the slots and remove the glass. Hope this helps!
