The top front grille screwed in tabs had cracked
The trick is to align the bottom and top tabs first. This take a little coaxing and patience, but once these snap in, the tabs with the threads line up perfectly.
TIP: Thread the screws into the metal tabs while supporting the tabs with your hand BEFORE installing the grille, back them out, and then install. The threads were a little tight, and putting a lot of pressure on them while the tabs are in the slots risks breaking them off.

Not too bad
Our Microwave Vent Grill was broken - and since I was ordering online, I figured I'd get the two filters as well. The Vent Grill was fairly easy to install. It was a little tricky getting it to fit in, but once in, it was just a matter of screwing in at the top.
The Filters were another matter. The FILTR-GRSE came out very easy, but what I didn't realize was when I ordered it, it only came in packs of 1. The Charcoal Air Filter came in packs of 2, so I assumed both did. Why, when you need two of each of these, do they sell one in single packages - and the other in packs of two? The Charcoal Air Filters were only replaceable by unscrewing the bottom of the microwave. The FILTR-GRSE were easy enough to just pop out.
Overall, not that bad of an install.

broken vent grill and cracked door panel
Vent Grill - Remove 2 screws on top to the far left and far right and pull out the grill. When installing the new grill, insert the bottom 2 tabs in their slots and then firmly but gently push down on the top of the grill to snap it in place, being very careful not to break the plastic tabs on top. Reinsert the top screws.
Door Panel - Remove 3 screws on the outside edge of the door where the latch is. Snap off the door panel by pulling away the outer edges, being very careful that the glass pane which is only glued to the door panel does not come loose and fall out. Unscrew and remove the door handle. Remove the glass pane by scraping off the silicon glue. A razor is handy for removing any residue. Reattach the glass pane to the new door panel, making sure that the Whirlpool logo is facing the right way. You may need to slightly flex the plastic mounting tabs that hold the glass pane. Apply silicon glue to secure it in place. After the glue dries, screw on the door handle and snap the door panel on the door by gently flexing the outer edges and pushing it in place. Reinsert the 3 screws on the outside edge of the door.
General Comments - Both of these parts have flimsy plastic tabs to hold things in place and unfortunately, because they fit rather snugly, you need to apply just enough force to snap them in place without breaking them. Also, do not tighten any of the screws too much as this can break the plastic or cause stress fractures later. It's an easy installation but you just need to be careful not to break anything.

I was able to find the vent cover and the instructions, but the material also indicates that if the brackets that the vent cover attach to are broken they will also need to be replaced. Unfortunately, i can't find any information about the part number or instructions in the material, can you help me? Thanks, david
