Easy repair
Good price, easy install. My microwave is stainless but the matching part was $250, so I opted for the black one at $50. Looks fine, glad to have found this part for a 15 year old microwave as opposed to replacing the whole thing.

Vent Grille was broken and exterior door panel was completely cracked and part of it had fallen off.
I actually followed one of your previous buyers who had the same issue as I. Replacing the grille vent is easy. The door was just a little harder as I wanted to make sure I did not break the glass. Unscrewed and popped off the old pane and snapped the new one in place and put the screws back in. On a side note your site was very easy to use and easy to find the parts I needed quickly.

Replace vent grill and filters.
I went online and found the manual for this appliance and used the instructions, which were very helpful. The filters just pop out and the new ones fit right in. No tools were needed. For the vent grill, it was necessary to move the metal tabs back and forth a few times manually before they were properly placed in order to take the two screws, which hold the grill in place. I then loosely tightened the screws (so as not to crack the plastic grill)with a Phillips Head screwdriver. When my husband got up from his nap he was pleased to see the job completed without his help.:)

Door was cracked, and handle was coming off
I removed the plastic exterior of the door. The plastic exterior has to be pried off. The handle is fastened to the new exterior plastic face, and this is snapped on.

The vent grill kept falling off because plastic tabs had broken off.
I got my 5 foot step-ladder and Phillips screw driver and removed two screws that were already there. I discarded the two metal clips because new metal clips are already inserted in the vent grill. I lined-up the vent grill on the microwave and screwed in the two screws. It's a perfect fit.
I'm a 62 year old woman, and if I can do it - anyone can. The vent grill arrived two days after I ordered it.

Vent Grille is plastic & keeps breaking
First I removed the two screws from the previous grille. When the part came-no screws were included. Second, the plastic hole that was pre-drilled was not open enough so I had to make it open so the screws would fit. Your part fit just great and we are defintely satisfied. I have had to replace this vent grille 2 times-don't think I will have to do this again. Thank you

I am seeing there are two black colored vent grilles available for my Whirlpool microwave. Which one should I go with? The dimensions of my current vent grille are 29 1/2 wide x 3 1/4 tall x 1" deep. My microwave is from August 2005. I am also frequently replacing this grille because it keeps cracking about 5" in from the upper right corner. This area is not around a screw or mounting bracket.
For model number MH1150XMS2
Hi Rich, thank you for reaching out. The vent grill, part number PS391931, does not include the screws, and the vent grill, part number PS392273, includes the screws. If you already have the screws, then you may order the one that does not include the screws. We hope this information is useful!
