Where is the thermostat located at ?
For model number FRS526R4CW1
Hello Roberto, thank you for your question. This thermostat is located inside the icemaker at the front of the unit. If you remove the front cover of the icemaker and remove the front module plate the thermostat will be located behind that plate. I hope this helps!

My refrigerator is freezing all the food, i was told i need to change the thermostat, which thermostat should i buy?
For model number FRS26H5ASB5
Hi Jose, thank you for your question. It would either be your control thermostat or your defrost thermostat. You would have to likely have to test your defrost thermostat to check if that is the part that is causing the issue. You can test that part with a multi meter. Remove your defrost thermostat. To test it, place it in ice water for a couple of minutes. Then test it with your multi meter. It should read 0 ohms to be working. If that part is fine then it is likely that you are looking for your control thermostat. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Ice maker not dumping ice cubes. does if activated manually any suggestions?
For model number FPS26RLFCSE
Hello John, thank you for your question. If you aren’t using your ice maker very often, the auger won’t turn on and over time an ice chunk will form preventing the ice maker from dispensing ice. You may be able to break up the ice with your hands. If you can’t, you may have to defrost the ice maker. It could also be that the auger motor is frozen or faulty, Part number PS1993164. We hope this helps.
