This Tube connects to the internal freezer Defrost drain tube with a Push-On Rubber In-Line connector/sleeve (Which was split on my Refig.) Does this part come with that connector Sleeve? It is not shown in you part drwaing.... Which by the way has been a great help for serveral other repairs to this item. Thanks Gary

Hello, I see your replacement drain line tube PS758523 or GE WR02X11426 but if my drain line clog/issue is upstream from the freezer compartment down, how can I flush this out if the part doesn't fix the clog? My frig is running too cold at the lowest setting and I have replaced the door seals and thermostat aleady.

Hello Michelle, thank you for getting in touch. To unclog the drain line, flush out the drain hole with a solution made of 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 2 cups of hot tap water. Use a turkey baster to squeeze the solution into the drain hole and flush out the drain tube. We hope this information helps!

I have a small leak on freezer on right front. I do not have it hooked up to water, so suspect it to be from defrost cycle. What part do you recommend?Temperature is set at 0 degrees. have two identical units next to each other with identical settings- only occurs on one.

Hello Brad, thank you for your question. We would recommend checking the door gasket and drain tube. It sounds like the water isn't draining after the defrost cycle. If the tube is clear and the gasket is in good condition (no gaps) check the defrost heater, thermostat and temperature sensor. I hope this helps!

Our freezer has a layer of ice 1/4 " thick on the bottom and from time to time, water will leak out onto the kitchen floor. It sounds like the drain tube is clogged but how do you access this part?
For model number GFRS2KBYH

Hello Ian, thank you for asking. Based on our understanding, we would recommend checking the drain tube, part number PS758523, to fix the issue. You can access the drain tube by removing the bottom back panel. We hope this helps!

Thank you for your previous answer but I've seen the back panel, unscrewed the screw in the middle, but I'm afraid to lift the plastic piece as it feels like I'm forcing it and I don't want to break anything. How easy is it to take off to see the drain hose?
For model number GFRS2KBYH

Hello Ian, thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend making sure to remove all the screws securing the back panel. After un-threading the screws, you can easily lift the panel to remove it. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

I have received your response by e-mail. But is not the right one, you sent me the way to replace the water line tube, the long black one attached to the back of the fridge. I have a problem with the clear water line (transparent) that comes out from the double valve, makes a very small loop and goes inside the fridge. That small piece of water line hose is cracked and leaks the water to the floor when i try to get water from the dispenser locate at front.
