Easy repair. Although one of the Brackets was different than the other. Eve with one bracket being wrong, I was still able to make it work.

refrigerator door wouldn't remain closed
The plastic lower door closing cam was worn down. Replacing it was very simple: remove the top door hinge by unscrewing three nuts; lift the door off the lower hinge; unscrew and remove the lower door hinge; screw the new plastic lower door closing cam on to the new door hinge; screw the new lower door hinge; lift the door back on to the lower door hinge; screw the top door hinge.

Black Cam was bren on lower door hinge
This was a very simple job. Remove the top Hinge bracket, a total of 4 screws, lifted the door off the bottom hinge, removed the bottom hinge set up, 2 screws, replaced it, and attached the new bottom black door cam, lifted the door back onto the bottom hinge and aligned the top hinge, and reinserted the screws, and Ta Da, The door works like a new refrigerator door. 15 to 30 min tops. I did not even have to take the refrigerator items out of there door holder.

Part number 8201707 my fridge door makes a hard click when opening to 90 degrees and when closing. The noise seems to come from the plastic grommets designed to assist with holding the open position and finish the closing motion. Does this part include these plastic parts? If not what is the correct part number?
For model number KSRP22FNBT00
Hi Jim, Thank you for the question. This set only includes the two bottom hinges for both doors. The part you need is the Cam, PartSelect Number PS11752991. Hope this helps!

I was taking the bottom drawer out of the refrig and may have opened it to far.(hyperextended) the refrig does not stay closed. I ordered and replaced the plastic lower door closing cam thinking it was worn down. Still did not solve the issue with the door staying closed ?
For model number KSRS27ILSS13
Hi Greg,
Thank you for your question. If the door is not opening or closing correctly and you have already replaced the lower door closing cam, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the door cam, the door hinge set, the fresh food door gasket, the crisper drawer and the top hinge. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
