Only gave one star because it wouldn't accept zero.
The part was delivered through Purolator, the Parts select didn't tell me. I lucked out and found it. When I brought it home, it was broken. I tried to fix it but it just wouldn't work Would've cost me more to drive all the way back to the city, and pay for shipping to send it back. I will never buy from Parts select again.

Easy Repair - Worked Great
Pretty good swap out for the old pump. Overall was able to do so in about an hour. New one works great. Hopefully, it will last as long as the only one ( 21 years).

Simple Repair.
The part arrived as was expected, after a few days after ordering. The motor & pump itself were right, but the pump housing was the wrong one. But fortunately, the old housing was still like new, so I swapped them, and WALLA, 2 hours later, my wife was able to use the machine again.

Washer not draining
Unplug washer, turn off water, disconnect supply hoses.
Drain washer by removing the one screw holding the hose on the bottom rear of the washer, drop the hose to the floor and let it drain (you may want to take washer outside)
Remove four screws holding rear panel
Locate the pump and disconnect the two wires. Wires can be attached to either terminal when reinstalling, orientation is not important.
Using 5/16 driver, loosen the hose clamps on the inlet and outlet pump hoses then remove hoses from pump.
Twist the pump counter clockwise then pull straight up to remove.

The pump would not empty the washer.
I had taken the back off the washer already. The pump was connected to an incoming fitting and the out going fitting with hose clamps. Removed the hose and hose clamps from the old pump, connected the hose and hose clamps to the new pump, reconnected the wiring and that was about it. The pump was mounted to the bottom panel of the washer by simply plastic plugs requiring no tools. It was very easy.

bad pump
I took off the rear panel and removed the hose clamps and electrical terminals, slid pump out of slot in bottom pan of washing machine. It only took minutes, this was part of a major overhaul. I replaced this as a precautionary measure. Great prices and quick service,

Would not pump out water
I have a new Matag repairman, my husband. He took the front panel off by removing the screws. Then removed the balance on the drum and found the pump. Put the new one on and put everything back and my washer runs better than it has in a long time. Saved us a service call and hourly rate for a service man that couldn't come for 4 days.

Machine had been making a howling noise during rinse cycles for several weeks and then suddenly stopped draining.
On-line trouble shooting sites indicated that drain pump was likely culprit. Disconnected pump from hoses and removed and replaced pump. Tub to pump hose had considerable scale in it, so replaced that too. Repair was made easier by removing both the front and back panels of the washer to get best access to hose clamps and pump.

Washer would not pump out water
I removed the pump and found several coins had damaged the prop blade. I ordered a new one and installed it easily. The intake on the new pump was slightly smaller than the original so the original quick clamp produced a leak. A simple manual hose clamp corrected that problem.
