Washer would not spin
took off back and sides to the washer. laid the washer on it's back and removed worn and broken parts. replaced these parts and put everything back together. The top part of the agitator hasn't worked in a while, while we had it apart we also replaced the clogs. The washer works better than it has in a long time. Spins a lot more water from the clothes which makes drying faster. I would surely do this again. A lot cheaper than a new washer.

Tub did not center and seal was hanging out of tub
Laid washer on front side and removed top spring, then lifted the tub assembly to replace the right side spring, the one behind the motor was the hardest, I lifted the tub then removed the spring bracket at the tub with pliers and a socket. The top seal all I had to do was take the 4 screws that hold the top on (it takes a long extension) then sit it bak up and I lifted the top up to give me enough room to unsnap the top piece of the tub, cleaned it up put seal in. The parts fit perfitlt and real fast shipping, I bookmarked the site and will buy from again. JIM

The machine shakes excessively in spin cycle like it's out of balance, even when empty. I had laid it down to replace pump. Could that have done something?
For model number LSR6232JQ1
Hi Rick,
Thank you for your inquiry. You may have jostled one of your suspension springs out of place or, if you removed them to replace your pump, you may have put them back in the wrong place. I would suggest checking your springs to see if they are all alright. Good luck with your repair.

The 20 year old top load machine shakes to the point of moving during the spin cycles. I plan to replace the suspension springs, etc. To try to remedy the shaking. The tub wear pads look like they are the hardest to replace. My question is this - are there any gaskets that normally will need to be replaced when i install the other parts? Thanks.
