The handle to open the oven door had pulled off on the right side.
Replacing the handle requires removing the front glass, the top trim piece, and the brackets that hold the handle to the oven door.
First remove the three screws that hold the metal piece at the bottom of the glass and remove that metal piece and the glass. Then remove the four screws that hold the handle bracket to the main oven door. Next remove the three screw at the top of the top trim . Remove the whole trim piece with the handle and brackets. Remove the old handle from the brackets. Install the new handle onto the brackets (through the new top trim. Reassemble.

We have had this stove for about 10 years. The rack in it has to be carefully installed on the lower guides or they collapse! Very dangerous! Also, is there a cheaper option to replace the stove burner knobs? They keep cracking at the attachment and we keep having to replace them which is making this very expensive. Thanks.
For model number YKERS205TS0
Hi Donna,
Thank you for your questions. The knobs listed under your model number would be the correct ones for your appliance. We apologize that our prices are not as low as you expected. We base our prices on what we are charged by the manufacturer for the OEM parts. We try to keep our prices as low as possible, but do also have to keep them at a level to help cover our costs. We hope this helps to explain the reasoning behind the prices! There is no information on the lower guides for the oven rack under your model number and for more information you will need to contact Whirlpool. Their telephone number is 1-866-698-2538. If they provide you with a part number for the part, you may call us back with it and we can verify if we have it available for you. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
