Dishwasher was not cleaning anything.
Took the two baskets out and removed the spinners which simply clip on. The bottom center spinner screws on/off using a tab in the center. Then removed four screws holding the filter cover in place. Then removed the one screw holding on the chopper cover and removed cover. Old chopper came out easily. Then rinsed and washed everything down to clean out all of the disgusting stuff that was clogging the unit. Put the new chopper in place, put chopper cover on and everything else in place and it now cleans like it was brand new!

Chopper cover wont go back on
For model number kuds30ixbla
Hi Ronald,
Thank you for your question. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the chopper cover. The part being installed in the video is the chopper assembly, and it should give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will find the video under part number PS11722146. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

How do i remove the "protector cover"? I removed the one torx screw but it doesn't seem to lift off easily. Regards, bob
For model number kudk031tbl3
Hello Bob, Thank you for your inquiry. It's supposed to just pop off after removing the torx screw. You can try carefully prying it out with a flat blade screwdriver (it may be helpful to slide a plastic card between the cover and the screwdriver as not to damage the cover or housing). If it doesn't come out easily, try sliding a piece of dental floss and pulling it upwards. Hope this helps!
