New Springs for Whirlpool Duet Washer
I needed to replace the main two springs in my Duet Washer to fix the shakyness of the spin cycle. My PartSelect order arrived within a few days and the video provided by PartSelect was very helpful to explain the best way to replace the spring. I will definitely use PartSelect in the future.

I notice space for 4 springs but only 2 are installed on front connection..should there be 4?? and does spring kit come with plastic bracket that attaches to washer?
For model number GHW9400SU0
Hello Theodore, Thank you for the question. This tub is used on more then one appliance that will require 4 springs so the option is there. This model number only requires 2 springs. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Hello ! How can you tell if the springs are gone and need new ones ? Waiting ! Thanks !
For model number GHW9150PW1
Hi Tony, Thank you for your question. Like most springs, if you are able to pull the spring and stretch it with only a little effort, it is likely they are worn out and need to be replaced. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Whirlpool duet wsw9400sw04. Moldy smell. I already cleaned drain catch, replaced drain pump, internal drain hose, and shocks...the machine is level, i keep door cracked, the exterior drain hose is at proper height(into drain pipe), and i ran 2 cycles of bleach.. trying to figure out why i still smell moldy, standing water. should there be any water left in tub and drain after wash cycle? because when i turn tub with hands, i can hear water sloshing and if i open drain trap, approximately 5 cups at least pours out. don't know what else to try
For model number WFW9400SW04
Hello Brian thank you for your question. The issue is probably the front tub/door gasket part number WP8182119. This part can get extremely dirty, and smelly and start to mold. I would recommend checking this part to see if that is where the smell is coming from and replacing that part. I hope this helps!
