Great replacement
If you are doing the fridge and freezer and there is a water/ice dispenser. Make sure you get the two different parts. One for the fridge and one for the freezer.

Works perfectly. Took longer to arrive than expected.
Works perfectly. Took longer to arrive than expected. It was easy to install watching YouTube videos, however, the broken piece needed to have a hole drilled in it and a long wood screw inserted in order to pull it out of the fridge door with a pair of pliers. Replacement part fits perfectly with existing bottom bearing and very smooth once cleaned.

Relief from clicking and unwanted opening
This part had previously broken apart leaving a little shard at the bottom of the door. We ignored it for a while having just removed the bigger broken piece and left in the shard. The result was an awful clicking noise every time the door opened as well as the door not properly closing all the way. The door would often open up a little resulting in it eventually beeping at us to close it. So, we ordered this part to fix it. It took all of 10 minutes to take off the door, remove the shard with needle nose pliers, put the new piece back in, and reattach the door. Works perfectly now, no clicking and the door always closes itself and stays shut when given a little push.

Door was making a popping sound when opened and closed
Unscrewd the top hinge cove and removed two bolts from the hinge, lifted door off of the bottom hinge and laid the whole door on the floor using a beach towel to protect it from scratches. Unbolted the bottom hinge plate, replaced it with the new one. Then pulled out the old hinge bearing and replaced with a new one. Installed the door back on the bottom hinge while the magnet on the door strip held it place and rebolted the the upper hinge and reinstalled the hinge cover. All done in less than 10 minutes. No more popping sounds when I open and close the door!

the door would not close on it's own
The parts came within 2 days. The delivery was great. I took the food off the door, then removed the top hinge. Lifted door off bottom hinge and laid the door on a blanket on the floor. I then had access to the closing mechanism top and bottom that is just two plastic cams that lift the door as it opens. The weight of the door then is used on the cams to help close the door with the appliance level. It was very simple and assembly was just reverse order.

Hinge bearing broke causing door to rub when opened
I removed the screw in the plastic cover on the top of the fridge that covered the fridge side hinge first. Then, I removed the two nuts with a nut driver that hold the hinge in place. After removing the two nuts and the hinge, I lifted the door up and out of the bottom hinge and placed it on a flat surface. I used a pair of pliers next to pull out the broken hinge bearing from the bottom of the door itself. After removing the old bearing I inserted the new bearing in the door. Next, I put the door back on making sure the hinge went into the hinge bearing and put the door in the closed position. After that was all done and the door was set properly, I put the top hinge back on with the two screws and put the plastic cover back in place. Took 20min to complete. A second set of hands would have been helpful with putting the door back on, but it can be done by yourself.

The door had a loud popping noise everytime you opened it.
The biggest part of the repair was getting everything out of the shelves in the door. I had to remove one phillips head screw from the plastic hinge cover on the top of the appliance. As per the owners manual I traced around the hinge with a pencil so I would be able to align the door to the same postion. Removed two screws with a nut driver and removed the top hinge. The magnetic strip held the door in place until I grabbed it and pulled it open then lifted it up off of the bottom hinge. I layed the door on the island counter and pried the bearing hinge out of the door stop and replaced it with the new one. I probably could have stopped there but figured the plate might have been worn so I remove one phillips head screw from the bottom hinge, lifted the plate off, and replaced it with the new one. I assembled everything in reverse order and voila, no more popping noises.

Broken Hinge Bearing
Removed the Plastic Cover at the top of the door. (One Phillips Screw ) Removed the Hex Screws with socket set. Lifted EMPTIED door off bottom hinge. Pulled the broken bearing out with needle nose pliers. (Very Easy!!!) Placed new bearing into slot and reversed the procedure. 15 minutes tops. I spent more time cleaning the door and gaskets than replacing the parts. Funny thing, I called the local appliance parts store and they stated this is a common problem. However, for such a common problem, they didn't carry the part and it would have cost more than what I paid here. Additionally, I paid for 3-5 day delivery. Part was here in 2 days. Awesome!!!! I'll always come here first for all my parts needs. A+++

Door 'clunked' badly when opening
The door clunk problem was as others described. Repair similar to others described. The major thing to understand which I didn't see listed elsewhere is whether the top or bottom little nylon toothed cam is broken. This part is the one in the door. There was also one in the hinge, PS976594 or PS430814 ? I ordered this one and was lucky that it was correct. I'm not sure whether it's possible to know whether door side or hinge side is broken, without removing the door to see.

I replaced hinge bearing ps976452 on Frigidaire because of popping noise when opening and closing the door. Now it no longer pops when closing but still pops when opening. Any ideas?
For model number FRS26R2AWB
Hello James, thank you for contacting us. There is a door closer cam located on the bottom of the fresh food door. One is secured to the bottom of the door with a screw and one is secured to the hinge. One of the two door cams is either broken or it has a loose or missing screw. Hope this helps!

Does the hinge bearing come as a two piece set ? Or do you order top, and bottom ?
For model number PLHS237ZAB2
Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your question. Your bearing comes in different pieces. The bearings are different for each door as well. So you would have to look at your each door diagram and the cabinet diagram to get all of the bearings that you would need. Good luck with your repair.

I see there are two connected parts responsible for the refrigerator door to close smoothly, a hinge bearing and a door cam. Is there any way to guess which one needs replacing prior to removing the door? Or does one order and replace both?
For model number 2545629340P
Hello Jacob, Thank you for the question. Once one starts to wear it will put wear on the connecting part witch can effect the new part installed. We recommended replacing both at the same time. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

The refrigerator makes sounds like it has trouble starting, but will finely start
For model number 253543634op
Hello Jim, thank you for contacting us. The most probable cause of the issue is a faulty run capacitor, part number PS2333670, or a defective start relay, part number PS8689661. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
