Did not function
The part came quickly and looked to be in great condition. Unfortunately, it did not function after being installed in the refrigerator. We actually used parts from this part to repair our original.

I was disappointed that I had to purchase the complete module in order to get just the plastic paddle which broke the tab,s off of it after a few years of operation. Now I have a new module in my garage with no paddle..

I have an Electrolux side by side counter depth unit. The lever on the ice/water dispenser is missing. Do i replace the entire unit or is there a lever that i can purchase?
For model number EW23CS65GS1
Hi Staci,
Thank you for your question. This would be the part that you would have to replace. That little paddle is not sold separately from this module. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My refrigerator: 1. Makes ice, but no longer dispenses it out the door. 2. Does not always stop water flow out the door (may require pushing dispenser multiple times to stop). So my questions are: 1. Is the computer control likely to be the root cause? 2. If so, is this a user serviceable part for someone with above average mechanical skills. Thank you for your insight in advance.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. It could be your board that is the issue but I would also suggest you check your dispenser module as well. It does sound like whatever is happening is an electronic issue. Both of these parts would have to be tested by a technician to determine which one is not working however. You could probably do the installation yourself. It is not very difficult. You would remove your front frame with a putty knife and then unplug the wires from your board to the dispenser module. Make sure to take pictures of how the wires are attached to the board for reference. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My refrigerator makes ice & will dispense it thru the door, but it will not stop without opening the door, & cannot change it from crushed to cubes. It is stuck on crushed.
For model number E126SS55GSO
Hello Curtis, Thank you for your inquiry. Remove the ice bucket and check for any ice that may have fallen behind the bucket as there is a lever behind the bucket that opens a flap and allows cubes to come out. Jammed ice can block that lever. We would also recommend checking the crushed/cubed ice solenoid assembly and the dispenser module. Hope this helps!

My refrigerator dispenses cubes and crusted ice, but it does not dispense water. Can you help with this?
For model number EW23SS65HS1
Hello Jerry,
Thanks for your question. There are a few different parts you may wish to test with a multimeter to check for electrical continuity. Replace any that do not show continuity. Test the water inlet valve, dispenser module, and the defrost thermostat kit. Replace the water filter if it has not been changed within the last 6 months.
I hope this helps.

Water dispenser is leaking, dripping off the paddle. Is this a repair or replacement of the unit?
For model number EW23CS65GS1
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your question. It is normal for the dispenser to drip some water after use. Make sure the dripping you are seeing is not coming from the catch pan or grille on the door where the water collects. If it is dripping or leaking for longer than then a few drops after use and the water is not coming from catch pan, it could be because there is air trapped in the water line that is causing a build up of pressure that is forcing some water to seep through the dispenser opening. If this is the reason why the dispenser is dripping water, keep the water running from the dispenser for two to three minutes. This should allow all the air out of the tank and resolve the issue. If this does not fix the issue, then a component in the water inlet valve may have failed and you will need to replace it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
